Banque Baccarat
In the variation of Baccarat known as Banque or Deux Tableaux, the position of the banker is more permanent than in Chemin de Fer. The objective of the game is the same - to form a hand as close to 9 as possible, but the difference is the banker’s position, which is given to the player who makes the highest bet. The banker then deals six cards to each player - three to each player on either side of him, twice over. Then players turn over all their cards and sum the value of them. When knowing the total each player decides himself whether he wants to draw or to stand. When playing Banque or Deux Tableaux Baccarat you are allowed to wager on the hands of other players, but you can never bet on the banker’s hand.
It is not a secret that Baccarat variations differ from each other in some way. And in all of them the role of the bank is played differently, by different people, who are in the game. If you play Baccarat Chemin de Fer you will notice that the role of the bank is played by different players. The banker position passes clockwise from player to player every time the banker loses. The banker will be provided with funds by the bank. The role of the banker can be passed to the next player. Each Baccarat game has the same principle. The player’s hand to be as close to 9 as possible. In Chemin de Fer, the banker deals four cards for each of the players and for himself; each participant now turns over the cards and adds the numbers on each together. If your total is lower than 5 you’d better draw, if the total is 5 or higher you’d better stand. Then the banker compares all the hands and the player with the closest to 9 hand is the winner and he gets paid.
Mini Baccarat is played under the same rules as American Baccarat, but gives players the opportunity to play the game with the lower betting limits in the much more relaxed atmosphere - you can dress as casual as you like. The table is smaller than in regular Baccarat. It has the size of the Blackjack table with seven places for players. Areas on the Mini-Baccarat Table: Chip stacks, Commission Boxes, Tie betting area, Banker betting area, Player betting area, The Shoe. Each player has three betting areas in front of him corresponding to his seat. Bets on player hand can be placed in the red circle. Yellow circle is to bet on the bank hand. To make a bet on a tie the player has to place the bet on the white number. It can be found above the yellow circle. Croupier seats opposite the players. In the dealer’s area there is a chip rack and a numbered area to keep track of the commission of the players. This is the number for every active player. It corresponds to the number of the player’s seat. The dealer seats in such a way that he can reach all the areas of the table. In the Mini Baccarat the rituals of passing the shoe are missing and the dealer is always the Banker and the Players never touch the cards. All other rules are exact the same as in the large game. There are betting rules according to which players make their bets. After the bets are made the dealer deals two cards to the dealer’s and two cards to the player’s hand. Then the dealer compares the hands. Croupier collects the lost bets and pays the winnings. On the winning "Banker" hand Croupier pays 1 to 1 and makes notes of the commission that the players owe, which is collected when the player leaves the table.
