The position of the banker and who undertakes it is the main difference between Baccarat variations. In the version of the game known as Chemin de Fer, the position of the banker passes clockwise from player to player each time the banker loses rather than being fixed by the individual casino. Throughout the game the player who plays the role of the banker will be provided with funds. The role of the banker can be passed to the next player. Each Baccarat game has the same principle. The player’s hand is to be as close to 9 as possible. The player, who plays the role of the banker, deals each player four cards, then the cards are turned over and their value is summed. If your total is lower than 5 you’d better draw, if the total is 5 or higher you’d better stand. The total of the hands is then compared and the player with the best hand (closest to 9) wins.

Before playing the game all the players have to place their bets. The players make their bets with chips. The chips are stacked by denomination (, , , 0, 0) at the bottom of the game window. To choose a chip of a necessary amount you have to click left mouse button on this chip. Click on a bet field to place your bet on the Baccarat table. To increase a bet you can add one or several chips on the bet field. You can place as many chips as you have available without exceeding the maximum limit. Your wager amount is made of all chips placed on the bet field. You can see your bet in the ‘Bet’ section. There is a table minimum, which determines your bet amount. If your bet is under the minimum bet amount it will be automatically increased to the minimum limit. Press the deal or Pass button to start. Both the banker and the player will be dealt two cards each. Cards have different value. Tens and face cards are counted at 0. Aces are valued at 1. Numbered cards except tens are worth their face value. The total of the hand is the sum of the value of all cards in the hand. If the value of the hand goes over 9 the value is counted by subtracting 10 from the total. If you have 8 and 7 (8+7=15 -10=5) the total of your hand is 5. When the first cards are dealt to the player and to the banker they can draw one more card. The player doesn’t ask for a third card. All additional cards are subject to a "Third Card Rule". Neither the banker nor the player can be dealt more than three cards. When two or three cards are dealt the banker’s and the dealer’s total are compared. If the banker’s and the player’s total are equal the hand is called a tie. If a tie happens you receive your wager back. The total 8 or 9 is called “natural 9”. In the case of a “natural” hand after receiving first two cards no more cards shall be dealt either to the banker or tot the player. If the value of the cards in the Banker's hand on the first two cards is 0 to 7 inclusive, the Player's hand shall draw in accordance with the "Third Card Rules".
