The role of the bank can be played differently and this the main difference between different Baccarat variations. In Baccarat Chemin de Fer different players play the role of the banker, which passes form player to player in the clockwise direction every time the shooter loses. Throughout the game the player who plays the role of the banker will be provided with funds. The role of the banker can be passed to the next player. The objective of each version of the game is the same: to reach 9. In Chemin de Fer, the banker deals four cards for each of the players and for himself; each participant now turns over the cards and adds the numbers on each together. A player having a total lower than five will usually draw another card, while a player with a hand greater than 5 will usually stand. The total of the hands is then compared and the player with the best hand (closest to 9) wins.

There is no much difference between Mini Baccarat and regular Baccarat. The main feature is lower betting limits and more relaxed atmosphere. Players can wear what they like.
The table is smaller than in regular Baccarat. It has the size of the Blackjack table with seven places for players.
Chip stacks, Commission Boxes, Tie betting area, Banker betting area, Player betting area, The Shoe are the areas on Mini Baccarat table. Each player has three betting areas in front of him corresponding to his seat. Red circle is to bet on the player hand. Yellow circle is to bet on the bank hand. White number just above the yellow circle is to bet on a tie.
Croupier seats opposite the players. In the dealer’s area there is a chip rack and a numbered area to keep track of the commission of the players. The numbers correspond to the number of the players' seats at the table. The dealer seats in such a way that he can reach all the areas of the table. In Mini-Baccarat players don’t play the role of the banker. It is the duty of the dealer.
All other rules are exact the same as in the large game. There are betting rules according to which players make their bets. Croupier deals four cards face-up, two to the "Player" hand and two to the "Banker" hand. Then the dealer compares the hands. Croupier collects the lost bets and pays the winnings. On the winning "Banker" hand Croupier pays 1 to 1 and makes notes of the commission that the players owe, which is collected when the player leaves the table.
